Clever phrases to describe fictional characters

Using disposable masks for contact tracing.

People go to school or the mall and are given a disposable mask which is uniquely identified and associated with the person in a database. They do school or walk around the mall for a couple hours or whatever. When they’re done with the mask, it gets put into a special recepticle. The discarded masks are then tested, and positive tests followed up on.

Social interaction app

People show up to an event with their masks. They take about 6 selfie’s from different angles without the mask, sixish with the mask. The selfie’s get uploaded in the app. When they view someone through the app, it does facial recognition on the masked face and overlays the unmasked facial image over the masked face in the app.

Weird Ideas

 Immune system as state machine. Philosophy from the gamete’s perspective, rather than the zygote’s. The word “bad” means whatever it meant the last time it was used on TV.

Trumpism is basically like a multilevel marketing scheme (MLM) where the core product is propaganda targeted at angry white boomers. Joining involves a “...buy the dream...” sort of gullible acceptance of a twisted prosperity gospel. Ascending to higher levels in the scheme involves trading more and more gullibility for greed. The increasing greed motivates movement up the pyramid for those who buy in, as their gullibility allows them to buy deeper into the dream that they can profit from accepting the alternate reality. The highest levels of the pyramid include Fox News anchors, Republican Senators, and White House staff. They know the narrative is bullshit, but it looks and feels like regular old salesmanship. Always be closing.   They believe they will win when all the other chumps lose, so they flick their shrunken and neglected angel off one shoulder and read the scripts, sing the songs, dance the dances, play the games, stay on message, certain in their belief that...
